Purpose: The Monticello Baseball Association (MBA) has adopted the following refund policy. Acting as good stewards of the Associations funds, the MBA has to consider costs associated with the combination of league deadlines, ordering uniforms, fundraising deadlines, holding evaluations and tryouts when determining a refund policy. The intent of this policy is to provide a refund option for those who no longer wish to participate in the MBA while ensuring the financial stability of the MBA. It’s because of these factors the MBA has selected the tiered Refund Policy detailed below. Policy: The MBA will refund registration fees for registrants that submit a Refund Request, as detailed in the procedure below. All Refund Requests must be submitted by email to montibaseballassoc@gmail.com. Refund Requests will be reviewed by the MBA Executive Board(President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary). Refunds will be determined based on the following factors: A. Refund Requests received from the date registration opens thru 11:59 PM on the eve of Evaluations and Tryouts, will be subject to a full 100% refund of Registration Fees and Fundraising Deposit. B. Refund Requests received from 12:00 AM the day of Evaluations and Tryouts thru 11:59 PM May 15th will be subject to a 50% Refund of Registration Fees, 100% refund of Fundraising Deposit and 0% Traveling Fees. C. Refund Requests received from 12:00 AM May 16th thru 11:59 PM June 15th will be subject to a 25% Refund of Registration Fees, 0% refund of Fundraising Deposit, 0% Traveling Fees. D. All Refund Requests received after 12:00 AM June 15th will not be subject to a refund of any kind. The MBA Executive Board will make every effort to follow up on all Refund Requests within 7-10 days of the request being received. When a Refund Request has been verified and the refund has been issued; the registered participant is no longer eligible to participate in MBA games, practices and other events during the current season. Acting only in the best interests of the Association, the MBA reserves the right to deny any Refund Request received. If the MBA Executive Board finds cause to deny a Refund Request, the matter should be brought in front of the full MBA board for a majority vote. The registrant will receive communication from the MBA as to why the request was denied and the final board decision. The board’s decision is final. Procedure: Please be sure to read these steps carefully, as an incomplete request may result in delayed processing of Refund Requests. Submit an email to montibaseballassoc@gmail.com with the subject line: REFUND REQUEST Copy and Paste the template below, items 1 – 7, into the body of the email and provide the information requested for each item. 1. Players Name(s): 2. Parents Name(s): 3. Street Address: 4. City, State, Zip Code: 5. Age Level(s) Registering for: 6U 8U 9U 10U 11U 12U 13U 14U (delete those not applicable) 6.
